Last things to watch out for if you're air sign dominant: inconsistency, indecision, vacillation and flightiness, says Aganza. The Avatar cycle is more or less set in stone: it starts with Fire, after the first Avatar, Wan, and goes on to Air, Water, and Earth, in that specific order. When they're not feeling their best or most "in balance," Aganza says they can veer toward "over intellectualization," and being "overly verbose, nosy and meddlesome (gossiping), and even superficial." The gift of gab can also get the best of them. If they get too "in their heads," they can also "over think and be nervous." This can go too far into making air signs feel "aloof, distant, removed, unfeeling," (the opposite of water signs). The sequence opens by showcasing the four elemental bending styles: waterbending. "They're versatile." Air Sign StrugglesĪn out-of-balance air sign can be "spacey, ungrounded or insubstantial," says Aganza. The opening sequence is an introduction to the Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra series, playing at the beginning of every episode, with other Avatar media, such as Avatar Legends: The Roleplaying Game and Avatar: Generations, also featuring introductions done in the style of the animated series. Air signs bring clarity, clear vision and cleverness. Whereas water signs can be particularly emotional, signs with more air energy are "dispassionate in order to maintain objectivity," Aganza adds. Individuals with air as their ruling element are usually quite curious, with the ability to be objective and impersonal. In Avatar: The Last Airbender, humans first learned the ability to bend or manipulate the four elements of Fire, Earth, Air, and Water by observing their natural environment and mimicking how certain animals interacted with the world. "Air signs tend to also be chatty - communicative, social, friendly and gregarious." Think: social butterflies. An in-balance air sign will be "quick minded, quick-witted, intellectual, abstract, rational, logical, conceptual and theoretical," says Aganza.
