After nearly a decade at Schramsberg, he joined another successful Napa Valley winery where he was responsible for their Sales and Marketing efforts. Later he advanced to a senior sales position for the company. Early in his career at Schramsberg, he worked in the cellar and conducted private tours. Keith started his wine career at Schramsberg, the oldest Sparkling Wine producer in Napa Valley. Keith Hargrove, a native of Napa Valley, has been active in the wine business for the past 25 years. He works closely with the talented team of ownership and instills a level of professionalism and quality that will add to the continued success of the brand. Jac will use his 30+ years of winemaking experience to create the Hindsight Wines portfolio. The principal project that led to his decision was Hindsight Wines. Ten years later, in 2013, Jac decided to launch his own consulting business. Armed with 25 years of experience and a team of professionals garnered from his long experience in Napa Valley, he produced some of the finest wines Spring Mountain and the Napa Valley had ever experienced. In 2003, Jac was offered another coveted winemaking opportunity Spring Mountain Vineyard, one of the world's truly outstanding winegrowing estates. The result was a vastly improved and contemporary winery facility prepared to compete in the highly demanding world of 21st century Napa Valley winemaking. In 1997, Jac accepted one of Napa Valley's greatest challenges, becoming winemaker for the venerable Charles Krug Winery in St. He crafted wines of superlative quality for the Anderson family for the next 5 years. Jac's next career move was in 1993 when he served as the winemaker for another Stag's Leap winery, S. After 5 years of tutelage under the auspice of the world-renowned Warren Wniarski, Jac accepted the position of Chef de Cave at the neighboring Stag's Leap Winery. After a brief 2 year stay at a small boutique winery in Temecula, Mt Palomar, Jac was offered the position of Assistant Winemaker at the very prestigious Stag's Leap Wine Cellars in Napa Valley. In 1982, Jac completed a one year internship at Chateau St. After working as an environmental engineer for several years, he enrolled in the Enology Masters Program at CSU Fresno and graduated as a State Scholar and Scholarship recipient from the American Society of Enology and Vitculture with a 4.0 GPA.
